Following my passion in business and entrepreneurship, I have been building my career in these fields for over 8 years. I am always excited about entrepreneurship, particularly those that offer new solutions for community issues. My goal is to inspire as many people as possible and positively impact their lives.
I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Management from Paris ESLSCA Business School, which I completed in September 2022. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from The British University in Egypt, which I completed in 2017.
In my current role as Operations Lead at Dayra, I am responsible for building standard operating procedures, optimizing processes, managing special projects, conducting user and market research, financial modeling and analysis, and overseeing financial operations. Previously, I held leadership roles at TeKeya, AIESEC, and DentaCarts, where I played a key role in business growth and change management and closed deals with major companies such as PepsiCo and Allianz.
Through my involvement in ambassadorship programs, I have had the opportunity to travel and gain experience in various countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Mozambique, and Tanzania.
I am also certified in PMP and have completed the McKinsey Forward Program. I am proficient in various tools, including Slack, G Suite Microsoft Office Suite, Trello, and Podio.
I want to become a mentor for several reasons that are deeply personal and aligned with my values.
First, I believe in the concept of علم ينتفع به (knowledge that benefits others). I see mentorship as a way to share the knowledge and experiences I’ve gained over the years, ensuring that it continues to benefit others long after I have moved on. This aligns with my desire to make a lasting impact by passing on valuable insights that can help others grow both personally and professionally.
Second, through my own life journey of over 30 years and 8 years of professional experience, I often found it difficult to access the right guidance when I needed it most. I want to offer people what I couldn’t find easily mentorship that is accessible, empathetic, and practical. By doing so, I hope to fill the gaps that I encountered in my own career path and help others avoid unnecessary struggles.
Third, I genuinely enjoy mentoring. There’s something deeply fulfilling about helping others navigate their challenges and watching them grow into their potential. Mentoring allows me to reflect on my own experiences while also learning from the fresh perspectives of those I mentor.
Lastly, I am already contributing as a Business Mentor at Techne and a Student Mentor at OBM Education (Taleb Application). These roles have given me firsthand experience in how impactful mentorship can be, not just for the mentees but also for myself as a mentor. It’s a mutually enriching process that fosters growth on both sides.
In summary, mentorship for me is about sharing beneficial knowledge (علم ينتفع به), offering what was once hard to find, enjoying the process of helping others grow, and continuing my journey as an active mentor in established programs.
