I am interested in mentoring because I believe that early-stage founders thrive when they have access to the right guidance, accountability, and strategic perspective. Building a company can be both exhilarating and overwhelming, and having a mentor who understands the challenges can meaningfully accelerate growth and decision-making. I am passionate about helping founders avoid common pitfalls, think more clearly about their roadmap, and build with long-term sustainability in mind.
My focus areas include venture development, fundraising readiness, business model validation, and go-to-market execution, particularly for founders operating in emerging markets. I’m especially drawn to sectors such as fintech, digital platforms, and innovative solutions addressing market inefficiencies in Africa. I enjoy working with mission-driven entrepreneurs who are using technology to solve real problems and create measurable impact.
I view mentorship as a partnership: a blend of encouragement, honest feedback, and practical support. I’m motivated by the opportunity to empower founders to refine their ideas, strengthen their strategy, and build resilient businesses that can scale across regions.
I mentor because I believe that strong ecosystems are built when experienced professionals actively invest in the next generation of founders. Having worked closely with entrepreneurs, I’ve seen how early guidance can dramatically influence a startup’s trajectory, and I want to give back by sharing the knowledge, networks, and practical insights I’ve gained over the years.
I am also naturally curious about new industries and emerging business models, and mentorship provides a meaningful way to stay close to innovation while supporting founders who are solving real market challenges. In addition, I am interested in identifying opportunities where my expertise can add value, whether through advisory roles, strategic input, or board-level support.
Finally, mentorship is a powerful way to form genuine connections with ambitious founders, fellow mentors, and ecosystem builders. These relationships strengthen not only my own perspective but also the work of the organization I represent, enabling us to collaborate more effectively across regions and sectors.
