Aditya Raja Ram

Aditya Ram is a passionate Motswana entrepreneur who holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, New York as well as a bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from Lausanne Hotel School (EHL) in Switzerland and has had an appetite for Real Estate from an early age.
He worked in India, Maldives, and South Africa before returning to Botswana in 2007 and taking on the massive rollout of Botho University’s campus development. He manages a number of real estate portfolios and has led strategic real estate investments both in Botswana and beyond.

Aditya is an active angel investor through Angel Network Botswana and is passionate about developing a vibrant startup environment in the country. He has held board positions in numerous entities in Botswana. He currently is the Secretary of Angel Network Botswana and is the forum chairperson of the board of the American Business Council.

He loves to spend his spare time with his family and friends especially indulging in foodie experiences or on safari in Botswana.

I am passionate about seeing the next generation of African Entrepreneurs being catalyzed into the next stage of growth, enabling Africa to reach its real potential. Through mentorship, experiences gained by mentors like me can avoid costly mistakes in early-stage startups which would allow them to become sustainable businesses.
