For me, access to finance is access to leadership.
Since early 2018, I have been actively investing in technology startups when I founded AUC Angels, the first university-based angel investment network in the Middle East, in partnership with the American University in Cairo School of Business.
While serving on the network’s executive investment committee, I also have served as a founding product chief executive in several startups, including MaxAB, one of the leading supply chain optimization startups in MEA.
My breadth of experience comes from building, running, and scaling seven digital products in multiple industries throughout his career, and PayMob’s platform is my 8th product.

I have been part of the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem since early 2011. I founded two technology startups that provided machine learning-driven user recommendations and personalized experiences in the food and beverage and home furniture industries straight out of college. Such an early experience made me appreciate the value of launching MVPs quickly to the market to test, iterate, and scale.
