About

I am interested in mentoring because early-stage is where trajectories are shaped. The quality of guidance founders receive at this stage often determines whether a company becomes fundable, scalable, and resilient — or remains structurally fragile.
With over 18 years of experience in venture capital and private equity, I have built and financed companies across growth cycles, structured investment vehicles, and led capital raising with institutional investors and DFIs. Mentoring allows me to intervene upstream — strengthening fundamentals before capital is deployed.
My focus areas include:
Investment readiness and fundability
Product–market fit validation and scalability strategy
Business model architecture and unit economics
Go-to-market positioning and strategic differentiation
Governance structuring and founder alignment
Financial discipline, KPIs, reporting frameworks
Equity story articulation and due diligence preparation
Beyond the model and metrics, I focus strongly on the founder: clarity of vision, execution capacity, decision-making discipline, and leadership maturity. Capital backs people first.
My objective is not simply to advise, but to help founders build investable, institution-ready companies capable of attracting long-term capital and scaling sustainably.

Mentorship motivation

  • I am looking for new investments
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

I mentor because early-stage is where long-term value creation begins. The right strategic guidance at inception can fundamentally alter a company’s trajectory — from a promising idea to an institution-ready, scalable business.
Mentorship, for me, is both a responsibility and a strategic commitment to strengthening the ecosystem. By helping founders build strong governance, financial discipline, and scalable operating models early on, we elevate the overall quality of the investment pipeline and reduce structural fragility across the market.
I am also intellectually driven by the opportunity to engage with emerging industries, new technologies, and ambitious founders. Mentoring provides a front-row seat to innovation while allowing me to contribute pattern recognition, capital structuring expertise, and investor-grade rigor.
Finally, it enables meaningful long-term relationships with high-potential founders — relationships that may evolve into investment partnerships, advisory roles, or board engagements when the timing and alignment are right.
At its core, I mentor because sustainable ecosystems are built through transmission — of knowledge, standards, and ambition.
