Geographic focus

Mentorship motivation

  • I am looking for new investments
  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

– I see the opportunity set for investments in Africa as being vast; I want to augment my expertise gained in key sectors (healthcare, transportation, fintech and renewable energy) with other sectors such as FMCG, logistics, construction etc… that will benefit from the demographic trends in Africa- increasing middle class, urbanization and the continent having the youngest population.
– I want to contribute the knowledge I’ve gained in working on wall street and other sectors to the startup ecosystem in Africa beyond just contributing capital; but come alongside founders as they implement on their strategies.
