I have a keen interest in the growth of the African entrepreneurial ecosystem. I work through The Created Creative – a brand strategy and digital marketing consultancy that has worked with founders of organizations that are both for-profit and non-profit brands.

I partner with impact-driven founders looking to build more solid brand and business foundations to launch their vision. With a focus on reputation building, I have experience working with businesses in different industries ranging from tech, and health/medical to lifestyle brands in fashion. I have also worked with organizations geared toward supporting entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurial ecosystem advising on ways to facilitate their growth. This is in addition to holding business and branding clinics, and workshops for the entrepreneurs and their teams.

My thrust has been to first educate the founder and then add value through both paid and complimentary services — including a free podcast that has had listenership in over 40 countries and 150 cities.

I am interested in serving tech founders that are looking to build a brand that speaks to their vision while making use of the online space to improve their visibility.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

I started my business journey as a thirteen-year-old selling snacks to reach a savings goal. I, since that age developed an interest in business structures that facilitate growth as well the mindset required to start and grow businesses. Seeing people that had business, but no business acumen drew me to a career that supports people with a core skill and now business, but may require help in building around their core skill. I would like to become a mentor to continue to engage with startups, learn from the entrepreneurs as I engage with them and in turn grow together.
