I have 18+ years of experience across fund-raising, equity research, portfolio management & driving company strategy, among others. I have been the author of Rural Safari series of reports (Link), a series of reports over half a decade analyzing developments in the Indian and global agriculture landscape, various rural/social initiatives impacting income at the bottom of the pyramid. I have done extensive research in start-up areas (particularly in agri-tech); and have also led a venture in agri-tech which aimed to democratize food processing and bring it at the farm-gate level. I have worked in companies across JP Morgan, JM Financial etc. which enabled corporate work-flow and in terms of education have done MBA from IIM Ahmedabad post engineering from IIT Varanasi.

I can provide inputs across multiple areas – Scaling up of business models, building sustainable financial model, fund raising, agri/social domain inputs, overall company growth strategy etc.

My on-ground research (across small cities & villages in India) has let me understand the challenges and opportunities at the village and small-town level. The energy and enthusiasm in the economically disadvantaged classes are enormous and it is very fulfilling to see solutions that help in raising their income levels and overall wellbeing. I would love to use my skills gained over the years to help/coach any start-up that is trying to do greater good for society.
