About

I am deeply interested in mentoring because I believe in the power of shared experience to unlock potential, build resilience, and accelerate both personal and professional growth. Having benefited from the guidance of mentors throughout my career, I understand firsthand how transformative the right support can be especially for individuals navigating complex or unfamiliar challenges in business and technology. Mentoring allows me to give back by sharing what I have learned, while continuing to learn from others in the process.

My passion for mentoring stems from my commitment to inclusive economic development, particularly in underserved communities across Africa and within small business ecosystems in the UK. Many early-stage entrepreneurs and young professionals have innovative ideas but face systemic barriers such as lack of access to networks, resources, and practical business knowledge. As someone who has worked in both corporate and startup environments, I recognize that a few strategic conversations at the right time can help founders avoid costly mistakes, strengthen their decision-making, and remain focused on their long-term goals.

My key focus areas include entrepreneurship development, business strategy, customer relationship management, and digital innovation. I have a background in business banking, sustainability, fintech, and SME development, which allows me to offer practical, hands-on advice in navigating funding, operations, and market entry. I’m also particularly passionate about supporting women and youth entrepreneurs, helping them build confidence, validate their ideas, and grow their ventures responsibly.

In addition to my corporate experience at Barclays UK as a Business Banking Specialist, I hold an MBA in Applied Finance and an MSc in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology. This academic grounding complements my practical insights and gives me a well-rounded perspective on what it takes to launch and grow a business
