Hello, I am Lanre Badejo, I am deeply interested in mentoring because I see it as a powerful way to accelerate growth, share knowledge, and create meaningful impact beyond my immediate work. My journey building Smart Farm Initiatives has exposed me to both the challenges and opportunities within agribusiness, youth empowerment, and sustainable food systems. Through this experience, I have gained practical insights that I believe can help others navigate similar paths more effectively.
Mentoring, to me, is not just about giving advice—it is about guiding, supporting, and learning alongside others. I am particularly passionate about helping young people and emerging entrepreneurs develop clarity, confidence, and structure in their ideas, especially those within agriculture and sustainability-focused ventures.
My key areas of interest and focus include agribusiness development, climate-smart agriculture, waste-to-value innovation (such as Black Soldier Fly larvae production), youth and women empowerment, and building scalable, impact-driven business models. I am also keen on supporting individuals in areas like business strategy, operational structure, and transitioning from ideas to sustainable enterprises.
Ultimately, my goal as a mentor is to contribute to building a new generation of resilient, innovative, and impact-driven entrepreneurs who can drive food security, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.
I am passionate about building sustainable impact within the agribusiness and food systems space by supporting emerging entrepreneurs, especially youth and women, to grow scalable and resilient ventures. Mentoring allows me to share practical knowledge, strengthen the ecosystem, and contribute to solving real challenges in agriculture and climate-smart innovation.
