Bakare Philip

I am an Innovative and result-driven finance professional with 5 years experience in business valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, merger and acquisition, management consulting and financial reporting, supporting clients across various industries.

I currently work as an Assistant Manager in the Deals Advisory Unit of PwC Nigeria. Within the last 12 months, I have been involved in over 10 business valuations across various industries including financial services, FMCG, oil and gas, etc. In addition, I have also valued intangibles assets for merger and acquisition engagements. Aside valuations, I involve in buy and sell-side advisory, financial due diligence, financial model build and review, economic and industry research, and other corporate finance projects.

I am a mentor for the Tony Elumelu Foundation. I voluntarily support small businesses to thrive.

I am also a Faculty of Tekedia Institute. I teach business owners how to model their financials and value their businesses.

I graduated with a first-class degree in Business Education (Accounting) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria in 2018. More specifically, I graduated as the top 1% of my university and 1st out of 800 students in my department, and with two scholarships from the Federal Government of Nigeria and the University Scholar award.

I am an Associate Chartered Accountant, a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (U.K) holder, a CFA Investment Foundation holder, and a Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

I am passionate about supporting small businesses.
