Bertil van Vugt

I’ve been working in the African media and startup space since 2003 and was involved in setting up operations in Ghana and Kenya for Makmende Media. In my current role at VC4A I am responsible for business development while working a wide variety of partners to support the implementation of campaigns to source entrepreneurs for their support programs across Africa and Latin America.

These organisations leverage VC4A’s experience and online tools to promote entrepreneur focused campaigns, application / selection processes as well as offering value to their selected cohorts via the Mentor Marketplace, Startup Academy and DealRooms.

I enjoy speaking with up and coming entrepreneurs about their ventures and future plans.
