I have built software and worked with software teams to develop a wide range of solutions that range from state governments, federal government, and the private sector. Software that gets used in real life.
I have given in-person talks at software architecture conferences in Europe and North America. I have founded numerous companies including an NGO. One of my companies, has built solutions for USAID-funded nationwide public health projects. We have built apps for a startup in the US which eventually got acquired for $8M.
Facility OS is another company I have founded that offers software-as-a-service for resident associations and facility managers.
I am active in the software development community in Abuja, Nigeria and I am currently the lead organiser for Google Developer Groups Abuja (GDG Abuja).
I still actively write code but due to my focus on leading the business, I focus on non-critical parts of any project we are involved with.
A lot of the challenges startup founders face can be properly tackled with the right mindset. Doesn’t change the problem but having the right mindset gives a very good angle to tackle such problems. Through mentorship I believe I can help startups develop the right mindset and help them follow through on their decisions even if it means to pivot.
