Looking back, as a woman advancing in my career in cybersecurity and related fields, I would have found it immensely helpful to have access to a strong network of mentors and peers who could provide guidance, share experiences, and offer encouragement. Additionally, structured mentorship programs and professional development opportunities tailored to women in tech would have been beneficial. Support in navigating workplace dynamics, advocating for oneself, and balancing work-life commitments would also have made a significant difference. Overall, having a community that understands the unique challenges faced by women in tech and provides practical, emotional, and professional support would have been invaluable.
