I am interested in mentoring because I have benefited a lot from guidance and shared knowledge throughout my career, and I want to give that back in a meaningful way. As I have grown into senior roles, mentoring has become a natural part of my work, whether through supporting junior engineers, helping teammates think through problems, or guiding decisions around system design and delivery.

My focus areas are mainly in backend engineering, system design, and building scalable products, especially within fintech and high-transaction systems. I am particularly interested in helping founders and teams think through how to build reliable systems early, avoid common scaling issues, and make practical technology choices that support growth.

I also enjoy supporting engineers who are trying to grow into senior roles. This includes areas like improving problem-solving, understanding trade-offs, writing better code, and communicating effectively within teams. Beyond the technical side, I care about helping people build confidence and develop a clear approach to their work.

Overall, I am most interested in working with people who are building real solutions and are open to feedback. I try to keep my mentoring practical, honest, and grounded in real experience.

I mentor because I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and support founders who are building meaningful solutions. I have seen how access to the right guidance can change the trajectory of a product or team, and I want to be part of that early support system, especially for founders navigating technical decisions and growth challenges.

I am also genuinely interested in learning about new industries and businesses. Working with different founders gives me exposure to new ideas, markets, and ways of thinking, which helps me stay sharp and broaden my perspective beyond my immediate work.

Finally, mentoring is a way for me to identify opportunities to get more involved where there is strong alignment. If I come across teams doing solid work and solving real problems, I am open to contributing further in an advisory capacity or supporting at a more strategic level over time.
