About

I serve as a Startup Advisor/Start-up Mentor across global incubators and accelerators like CCHub, Futurize Global, Fuel Africa, VC4A, GCIP, MZZ Europe Ventures, Inqumax Incubator, First Founders, Startup Launch Code, Ventures Platform etc, helping early stage Startup Founders navigate through the early years of building a startup.

I have given lectures at multiple platform like GAF, The Bunker, Solution17 for Climate Change, UNIC, GIZ, Sterling Bank etc, teaching on team building, attaining product market fit, MVP Map tool, splitting equity etc. I currently host a podcast called Startup Stories with Cynthia, a podcast on telling the true, inspiring of startup founders from all around the world. And also the Principal Partner at SDC Startup School.

I am currently serving as the Strategy Director for one of the key drivers of growth and development in the leather industry in Africa, The Aboki Group.

This has been a journey of over 9+ years.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

With the amount of capital and funding flooding the African Startup Ecosystem, it is imperative that our startup founders are equipped from the early years with all the necessary tools and knowledge required to build a startup that will enable them stand the test of time.
My goal inspire the right motivation for building a startup, to inspire the right company culture, to inspire a customer-centric mindset during the early years of product development, to equip them with the right tools, guide them on the right metrics to monitor etc.

I want to be able to look back 20 years from now and be joyful at the fact that I laid the foundation for kind of resilient startups that will be in existence at that time. It would such a proud moment for me.
