Douglas Israel Boateng

I am Douglas Israel Boateng, a dynamic professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing option, and a Diploma in Project Management. Currently, I serve as the head of operations at Women’s Haven Africa, a Tech and Innovation Hub dedicated to fostering women’s empowerment and inclusion in leadership, technology, and entrepreneurship.

My journey has a solid foundation in Credit Management, Marketing, and Sales. I’ve cultivated a passion for Digital Marketing, actively assisting early-stage startups in leveraging digital tools to enhance their business promotion strategies. In my earlier career, I played a pivotal role in developing new products and services for organizations such as MGI Microfinance and FNET.

I also served as the Manager of HapaSpace, the central hub for various initiatives in Kumasi. Through this position, I’ve engaged in projects with esteemed international organizations like GIZ, SNV, and the British Council, collaborating with governmental institutions such as NBSSI, NEIP, and YEA.

I am a Google Ads Certified Technician and hold a certification as a Social Enterprise (SE) Ghana Advocacy Trainer. My commitment to continuous learning is evident through my participation in numerous entrepreneurship conferences and workshops, both domestically and internationally.

As a co-founder of Demdtel, a family business, and Blissful Farms, I exemplify my dedication to addressing societal challenges through innovative solutions. Beyond my professional pursuits, I remain an active trainer, business coach, and mentor, leveraging these roles as avenues to make a positive impact on the world around me.

My interests span Modern Agriculture, technology, and social innovation. I firmly believe that a fulfilling life is one spent in service to others, and my multifaceted career reflects this principle.
