About

Ernest Bosha is a Fintech and innovation expert who served as an economist and policy analyst at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where he was pivotal to implementing Nigeria’s central bank digital currency, managing the regulatory sandbox, and the operations of open banking in Nigeria.
He is currently a partner at Pulaspace, an innovation consultancy and venture support organization seeking to raise a venture capital fund.
I am seeking to mentor startups in underserved tech ecosystems outside the big four (Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa), as I believe they build equally innovative and impactful solutions but lack the support that founders in the big markets get.
My focus areas are Fintech regulatory compliance, investment readiness, due diligence, product development, and market research.

Mentorship motivation

  • I am looking for new investments
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

At Pulaspace, we are seeking to a $10 million venture fund to back pre-seed tech startups in Africa’s frontier markets, regions outside the traditional VC hotspots of Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa-NEKS. Our approach is to combine capital with deep operational support and ecosystem access to help founders build scalable infrastructure-driven ventures. Therefore, meeting and mentoring founders in these ecosystems would present an opportunity to learn about them, support the ecossytem and create a viable dealflow pipeline.
