I am a seasoned communication specialist and Certified Public-Private Partnership (CP3P) Transactional Advisor with over thirty years of experience across Africa, including Tanzania. Over the past years, I have made ‘my name’ in Africa’s Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) sector. With a proven track record in facilitating impactful training sessions and partnership negotiations, I effectively bridged governmental, commercial, and international NGO sectors, supporting socio-economic development projects. Understanding stakeholder dynamics and local contexts enhanced my ability to drive consensus and implement effective partnerships. My comprehensive communication and project management skills positioned me as a resource for leveraging PPPs to achieve sustainable regional impact and development. They earned me my current part-time position as the strategic PPP advisor to the Executive Director of the Tanzania PPP Centre of Excellence.
I have been a mentor to many different people for many years. As a PPP specialist, I am still mentoring but unorganised. People from different sectors approach me, and I spend a lot of time answering calls to explain what is happening in the PPP sector and why we read so much about it in the Tanzania and Kenya media. I prefer to support others under an umbrella in collaboration with other mentors. I think it would be enjoyable for me and useful for others.
