Having spent over 27 years navigating the complexities of supply chain and operational management across the Middle East and Africa, I have seen firsthand how strategic bottlenecks can stifle even the most innovative startup. My interest in mentoring stems from a desire to pay forward the “on-the-ground” expertise I gained while scaling KOKO Networks and 20 years in varied supply chain eco systems with DHL. I believe that for the East African “Silicon Savannah” to reach its next level of maturity, founders need more than just capital; they need “Mentor-Driven Capital”—the ability to tap into proven operational frameworks, vendor ecosystems, and cost-reduction strategies that only come from years of senior leadership. I am passionate about helping the next generation of Kenyan entrepreneurs avoid common pitfalls in international procurement, last-mile logistics, and organizational restructuring during periods of 10x growth.
I mentor because I believe that sustainable business growth in East Africa requires a blend of local agility and global best practices. I find deep professional fulfillment in helping founders transition from “survival mode” into structured, scalable enterprises. My goal is to provide the “battle-tested” strategic oversight that allows entrepreneurs to focus on innovation while I help them build a robust, cost-effective backbone for their operations.
