Hello, my name is John Wangombe, and I am the founder and CEO of OPESHA SOLUTIONS, a pioneering fintech startup based in Nairobi, Kenya. At OPESHA, we are dedicated to revolutionizing the credit journey for SMEs in Africa by addressing key challenges such as denied loan applications, underperforming loans, and unattractive loan offers.

I am passionate about fintech and empowering small businesses. My goal is to drive positive change in the financial landscape by ensuring SMEs receive the financial support they need to thrive. I bring a wealth of experience in business model development, communication and marketing, competition analysis, fundraising, and technology.

As a mentor, I am committed to giving back to the startup ecosystem and supporting entrepreneurs at various stages, from idea/concept to mature businesses. I offer regular one-on-one calls, as well as unlimited chat, email, or text communication within agreed boundaries. My mentorship spans across diverse sectors including agribusiness, business services, clean technology, construction and manufacturing, creative industries, education, financial services, and healthcare.

My motivations for mentorship include seeking new investments, learning about emerging industries and businesses, and scouting for opportunities to engage as an advisor or board member.
