Ketan Gangatirkar

I’m an experienced technology leader and angel investor with two decades of experience building awesome products and organizations as well as mentoring startups, software engineers, product managers, and leader. I’ve spent most of his career in startups and scale-ups, including a 12 year run at a large tech company as it grew from $10m in revenue to billions, departing as VP of Engineering. I’ve spent the last 10 years in leadership, but he still knows how to code (mostly) and architect systems.

I have spent years building skills for helping people clearly identify challenges they’re facing, giving advice and brainstorming solutions, and working with them to be disciplined and accountable on follow through.
I have excellent communication skills, can cut to the heart of a problem quickly, and provide immediately useful and impactful advice.

I’ve done this informally and formally, for people reporting to me, people I knew well who specifically sought me out as a mentor, as well as strangers I met through various platforms. I’m especially motivated to help members of underrepresented groups succeed in technology, but I will happily help anyone.

I just like helping people and learning new things. I never really had a good mentor, so I want to give others the benefits that I never had.
