About

Greetings. I am Richard, a space entrepreneur and former NASA intern with over a decade of experience in technology, education, and entrepreneurship. I am looking to support bold, visionary, and purpose-driven African startup founders, with a preference for startups in space tech, geospatial analytics, climate tech, and agtech.

I believe in the power of innovation to drive sustainable growth and create solutions that address Africa’s unique challenges. By working together, we can empower the next generation of entrepreneurs to transform industries and improve lives across the continent.

Mentorship motivation

  • I am looking for new investments
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

I mentor because I believe in giving back to the startup ecosystem and supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. Having benefited from guidance and mentorship throughout my own journey, I understand how crucial it is for emerging founders to have access to experienced individuals who can help them navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

Mentorship also allows me to stay connected to the innovation pipeline, where I am constantly exposed to new ideas and opportunities. It aligns with my goal of discovering promising ventures for potential investment and exploring opportunities to engage as an advisor or board member. This mutually beneficial dynamic allows me to contribute my expertise while identifying startups that align with my values and long-term vision.
