Leslie Ossete

In 2016, Leslie raised $1M and co-founded BuuPass, a mobility startup in East Africa. Building on her expertise, she later spearheaded the geographical expansion efforts of Wave Mobile Money across the African continent. With a career spanning across more than 10 countries in Africa, Leslie is now Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Mstudio, a startup studio located in Abidjan. Mstudio is dedicated to fostering technological startups that transform the informal sector in French-speaking Africa, with a special focus on women and youth. In her current role, Leslie leads initiatives to support and finance these innovative startups for a duration of 18 months, contributing to the growth of the region’s entrepreneurial landscape.
