About

I am a Chartered Accountant (FCCA), CFO, and Business Strategist with over a decade of experience helping entrepreneurs build financially sustainable and scalable businesses. As the founder of Lio Professional Services, an accounting and advisory firm in Botswana, I support startups, SMEs, and growth-stage businesses with financial strategy, tax compliance, investment readiness, and business valuation.

Beyond finance, I am an entrepreneur. I run L&S Naturals, a natural cosmetics brand that sources local agricultural raw materials, and I lead an agribusiness initiative that supports farmers in castor oil production. My experience in finance, operations, and value chain development allows me to provide practical, real-world mentorship to entrepreneurs, especially in agribusiness, impact-driven enterprises, and investment readiness.

How I Can Help as a Mentor
I mentor serious, growth-focused entrepreneurs who need hands-on guidance in:
✅ Financial Management & Strategy – Structuring business finances for growth and sustainability.
✅ Investment Readiness – Business valuation, financial modeling, and fundraising preparation.
✅ Agribusiness & Value Addition – Optimizing financial efficiency and scaling operations.
✅ Tax & Compliance – Ensuring businesses meet regulatory requirements.
✅ Nonprofit & Social Impact Finance – CFO-level financial expertise for mission-driven organizations.

If you are an entrepreneur looking to improve financial clarity, attract investors, or structure your business for long-term success, I can help you navigate these challenges with practical and actionable advice.

Let’s connect and work towards building a financially strong and scalable business.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent

Why I mentor:
Entrepreneurs are the backbone of Africa’s economic growth, but many struggle due to a lack of financial literacy, strategic planning, and access to funding. I have seen promising businesses fail—not because they lacked great ideas—but because they did not have a clear financial roadmap.

I mentor because I believe that financial empowerment is key to business success. Many entrepreneurs:

– Do not track their numbers and make financial decisions blindly.
– Do not understand business valuation and lose out on funding opportunities.
– Are unaware of tax obligations and face compliance risks.
– Do not know how to price their products or services profitably.
– By sharing my expertise, I help business owners gain financial clarity, optimize their resources, and attract investment. I understand the challenges because I have faced them myself as a business owner. My goal is to demystify finance and strategy so that entrepreneurs can make informed decisions and scale successfully.

Additionally, I am passionate about supporting women and youth entrepreneurs. Many young founders in Africa lack mentorship and financial guidance, making it difficult to access capital or grow their ventures. By mentoring, I aim to bridge this gap and help African entrepreneurs build sustainable, impact-driven businesses.

If you’re looking for financial strategy, business structuring, or investment readiness support, let’s connect. I am here to help you turn your vision into a financially viable and scalable business.
