Lucie Arntz

I am a fully qualified corporate lawyer by training with several years of experience advising founders, investors and companies from pre-seed to IPO on corporate legal matters, mostly in the context of financing rounds, term sheet negotiations, investment agreements, founder vesting, corporate structuring, governance etc. I am also an experienced operator in early stage startup companies having worked in the AI and LegalTech space in seed to series A stage ventures in leadership roles. I am competent not only in legal matters touching upon corporate but also IP strategy, data strategy, hiring, building lean and sturdy processes and more. On top of that I am an active business angel with a focus on West Africa, I am actively supporting an accelerator program in Accra, Ghana to be launched in the course of the year and continuously mentor with Techstars Berlin and this year with Techstars Lagos for the first time.

I am passionate about West Africa and in particular Ghana as an emerging startup ecosystem and would love to deepen my expertise and share my experiences while broadening my network and scouting exciting ventures. I have been mentoring on numerous occasions and love how you both learn something new yourself and plant a new seed on the other side of the table / camera with every interaction you have.
