About

Hello!
I’m currently holding the position of Head of Partnerships and Research at Exits MENA where I lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that support the growth and success of entrepreneurs and investors in the Middle East and North Africa region. With over 13 years of experience in entrepreneurship and ecosystem building, I have a proven track record of creating value, fostering collaboration, and spotting opportunities across diverse sectors and markets.

My core competencies include proposition design, strategic thinking, cross-cultural communication, and project management. I hold a Master’s degree in Marketing from Durham University, UK, and I am a Certified Green Entrepreneurship Trainer and an Egyptian Gender Equity Seal Auditor. I am also a Member of the Board of Directors at Youth Entrepreneurs Network (YEN) and a Business Mentor at VC4A, where I leverage my expertise and passion to empower and mentor aspiring and established entrepreneurs.

I’m looking to support early stage, scaling stage, and growth stage startups tailoring my expertise to support their unique needs. My interests are creative industries, impact-driven ventures, e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, healthcare, edu-tech, and community platforms.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

The entrepreneurial scene in MEA is growing quite fast and in an upward trajectory. I find it difficult sometimes for startups and founders to have their voices heard in the crowd. I’m always on the lookout for opportunities where I can support the ecosystem, and that is why I always see myself as an ecosystem builder. I’ve been blessed with several opportunities to do so until now, and I would like to ensure the continuity of that. I also wish to have a platform to educate about my current scope and different initiatives and projects I am partaking in the hopes of creating synergies and collaborations.
