Margreet Magdy

I am an ecosystem builder. I’ve worked with many national and international organizations building programs and initiatives aiming to accelerate the development of the Egyptian innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. I am impact driven and believe in collaborative work and synergies to be the means of creating sound and sustainable impact. I am also a passionate mentor of 7 years where I’ve been lucky to mentor over 3000 entrepreneurs and more than 70 startups in agri-business, ready-made garments and textiles, social entrepreneurship, and women-led businesses.

I have years of experience in program design and implementation, as well as community engagement in the non-profit sector. Drawing from my background as an academic scholar, my mission is to create experiences that provide the framework and inspiration that access the potential in all of us.

I’m always excited to be part of new projects and initiatives. There isn’t a more exciting time than the present, so let’s make it happen!

The entrepreneurial scene in Egypt and MENA is growing quite fast and in an upward trajectory. I find it difficult sometimes to have my voice heard in the crowd whether as a start-up mentee or a mentor. I’m always on the lookout for opportunities where I can support the ecosystem, and that is why I always see myself as an ecosystem builder. I’ve been blessed with several opportunities to do so until now, and I would like to ensure the continuity of that. I also wish to have a platform to educate about my current scope and different initiatives and projects I am partaking in in the hopes of creating synergies and collaborations. I believe that part and partnership for growth, and I believe this program could be a strong opportunity to do so.
