Matthew Phillip Nse is a certified Business Development Consultant with nearly 15 years of experience in guiding startup founders to ideate and build scalable businesses. He currently serves as a Program Manager at Shecluded, a fintech company dedicated to bridging funding gaps for women-led businesses in Africa. In this role, Matthew has designed and implemented impact-driven programs that have empowered over 5,000 women.

He boasts a strong track record of mentoring through prestigious programs such as the Tony Elumelu Foundation, Cherie Blair Foundation, Fate Foundation, and the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan Atlantic University. Additionally, Matthew contributes as an application reviewer for the Mandela Washington Fellowship and the Global Start-ups Award, drawing on his extensive experience in evaluating and supporting entrepreneurial ventures.

Matthew’s academic credentials include a master’s degree in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Economics, complemented by several entrepreneurship certifications. His areas of expertise span business diagnostics, building sustainable business models, advisory services, financial management, business plan writing, access to funding, marketing, designing record-keeping templates, and HR management. He has mentored women-led businesses across various industries, using his skills to help them achieve their goals and create a lasting impact.
