About

I’m Nino Lazariia, I’ve been working in the climate tech and sustainability sector for over 5 years. My experience spans from leading the CleanAI program at Cleantech Group to conducting market assessments and due diligence for venture capital firms investing in climate tech startups. I’m particularly excited about mentoring because I believe in the power of knowledge sharing to accelerate innovation in the fight against climate change.
I’m especially interested in supporting early-stage startups in the climate tech space. I believe this is where mentors can have the most significant impact, helping founders refine their ideas, develop robust business models, and navigate the unique challenges of the sector. My focus areas include:
AI applications in sustainability
Clean energy solutions
Sustainable transportation and e-mobility
Climate risk assessment and management
Circular economy initiatives

Geographically, I’m particularly interested in emerging markets, including Eastern Europe (especially Georgia, my home country) and developing nations where climate solutions can have transformative impacts. I’m excited about the potential for leapfrogging technologies in these regions.
My goal as a mentor would be to share my expertise in market assessment, strategy development, and fundraising, while also leveraging my international network to help founders make valuable connections. I’m passionate about fostering innovation that addresses both local and global environmental challenges.
