About

Hi, my name is Olumide Aniyikaiye and I am a seasoned marketing professional with close to 15 years of solid regional experience in brand building, brand strategy development, customer marketing and category management across more than 28 markets in Sub Saharan Africa and across several industry verticals from CPG, Agro/Diary & Commodities, to Pharma and Tech.

I am also a founder and tech entrepreneur and in addition, currently serves as the Head of Marketing at Logitech where I lead Logitech’s expansion into West, East and Central Africa, crafting brand strategies and go-to-market roadmaps for the personal workspace, gaming, mobility, and video collaboration portfolios in the WECA region. I have previously worked as Marketing Director for Henkel Nigeria, Head of Marketing for Arla foods, Head of Multichannel for GSK and Marketing Manager for Unilever, Ethiopia.

I have a strong marketing and product management background and I am looking to support early-stage founders in Nigeria and the SSA region. My ultimate goal is to help new business differentiate and position their brands for growth as well as help them in structuring their go-to-market plans to acquire their first customer. My interests are Marketing, sales and brand development, Real estates, Proptech, AI and logistics.

1- To leverage my own practical business experience and help entrepreneurs in Nigeria and the subsaharan Africa region, as most mentors make a lot of mistakes in their first enterprises as they do not have someone to handhold them on the do’s and don’ts of setting up a venture in our region and sometimes the access to knowledge and quality mentorship is in short supply.
2- Change the mentality and improve the mindset, or, in other words, help the entrepreneurs solve their own problems by themselves.
3- I have faced a lot of problems as a bootstrapping founder, so I have a lot of practical examples to equip them in their entrepreneurial journey. I believe in learning by doing and teaching by example. Last but not least, I will help them with my local and regional ecosystem network.
