Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

Mentoring provides an invaluable opportunity to support someone else on thier journey to being a successful entrepreneur.

This sort of support enables them to leverage the shared experience of thier mentor and use that to leap frog the issues they encounter on thier journey.

I derive a lot of satisfaction from providing these needed insights and raising the level of awareness of entrepreneurs to being more delibrate about how they lead and how this impacts the growth of thier business.

Interestingly mentoring has given me too a huge opportunity to grow further learning through the experiences of mentees. The gowth is definitely two-way .
