Mentorship motivation

  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • Other

I have passion for entrepreneurship and mentoring allows me to engage with the entrepreneurial spirit. Helping startups navigate challenges can be fulfilling, as I can witness the growth and success of businesses I have guided. Secondly, Network. Mentoring fosters connections between startups and established professionals. I can introduce startups to potential partners, investors and clients within their networks, creating opportunities for collaboration and growth. My experience dealing with VCs and PEs and Investment Banking work and my experience in the operational side working as CEO/CFO and other senior executive roles are also crucial in my role to help start-ups. Thirdly, Cultural Impact. For someone like me, born and grow in Indonesia, work in Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines but now residing in North America, there is strong motivation to help Southeast Asian companies grow into global players. This desire stems from a commitment to fostering local talent and businesses while leveraging my international insights to enhance their competitiveness on a global scale.
