About

As Microsoft’s leader for Business Strategy, I spearhead the work Microsoft does to empower customers, partners, governments and startups to digitally transform their businesses using Microsoft Cloud and artificial intelligence technologies. I chair the ASEAN Microsoft Diversity and Inclusion Council and the Council on Accessibility and Assistive Technology and am a core member of Microsoft’s Global Commercial Accessibility Council that influences Microsoft product and tools design. I have established and led the Microsoft Enabler program that seeks to improve employability for People with Disabilities, in collaboration with Microsoft commercial partners in the region. I am a member of Singapore Enabling Technology Advisory Group (ETAG) as well as Singapore Business Network on Disability (SBNOD) and work with Microsoft’s customers and partners to help them establish accessibility inclusive practices. Over the last 20 years, I have held leadership roles at various technology firms like Rational Software, IBM, and Sun Microsystems. I would like to mentor social enterprise startups to help them adopt technology and transform their businesses with cloud and AI.

Mentorship motivation

  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

I am passionate about mentoring social enterprise startups because I believe in the power of innovation to drive meaningful change. By sharing my experience and insights, I aim to help these organizations overcome challenges and achieve sustainable growth. I find it rewarding to support businesses that prioritize social impact, and I’m eager to contribute strategically to their success. Through this mentorship, I hope to build valuable relationships and open pathways for a board seat where I can make a lasting difference.
