About

I am the Executive director and co-founder of Thinking Minds Ghana. I have been instrumental in carrying out all the projects of the organisation. I double as the Country Co-leader for 10 billion Strong Ghana Hub, an environmental leadership development organisation focused on environmental sustainability. I have been involved in the social enterprise space a little over a decade and passionate about transitioning artisanal and vocational apprentices into profitable business owners and helping early start-ups to develop sustainable business modules. Prior to launching Thinking Minds Ghana, I worked as an advisor and consultant for many organisations including PwC Ghana. I have developed interventions which have helped transition social enterprises, nonprofits and women owned small businesses into sustainable businesses. I am a trained Materials Engineer poised to create a community where social entrepreneurs and small businesses can connect, learn, collaborate and share business resources to accelerate their businesses into sustainable profit making ventures through mentorship, funding, and other resources that start-up businesses need to grow.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent

Mentoring gives me a platform to impact the lives and businesses of entrepreneurs. I find fulfilment in helping aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals to sail their heads above and navigate challenges to achieve their goals. Throughout my mentoring journey, I have observed that individuals derive so much hope and aspiration from my experiences and guidance which helps them to attain the full height of their potentials and that makes me fulfilled. Furthermore, mentoring people helps improve my knowledge through the learnings from the people and cases I attend to, each of these cases has unique context and challenges. I gain experience and insights from those I mentor. Overall, the ability to support and walk entrepreneurs and their businesses through challenges to success, makes me part of their success stories which makes me fulfilled because these businesses impacts the lives of a lot more indirect beneficiaries.
