I have dedicated myself to the field of law, using my expertise to promote justice and equality.
My journey began in the UK, where I earned my law degree from a prestigious university and began my legal career. I quickly realized that I was most passionate about using my legal skills to help those who were most vulnerable and marginalized. I began working with a variety of legal aid organizations, providing free legal services to those who could not afford them. I had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases, ranging from immigration issues to employment disputes. Through my work, I learned that the law could be a powerful tool for promoting equity and justice.
But my passion for social justice extended beyond the legal field. I had always been concerned about the environment and its impact on our planet and future generations. So I became involved in green politics, working with local organizations to advocate for policies that would protect our planet and promote sustainability. This work was immensely gratifying, as I saw how people from all walks of life could come together to create positive change.
Around this time, I also began volunteering with Amnesty International, a global organization dedicated to protecting human rights around the world. As a volunteer, I worked on a range of issues, from advocating for the rights of prisoners of conscience to protesting against police brutality against protestors. I was also able to serve as a legal advisor for the organization, providing guidance on the legal aspects of their advocacy work. Through my work with Amnesty, I learned about the power of grassroots activism and how many small actions could add up to create significant change.
This work culminated in an opportunity to work with the United Nations in Bangladesh. I spent two years in the country, working on a variety of human rights issues.
I am currently involved with Environmental Sustainable Entrepreneurship.
