As a former entrepreneur, I benefited greatly from mentors who provided invaluable support, including introductions to potential clients and investors. Now, I’m eager to pay it forward and share the knowledge and insights I’ve gained along my journey.
Currently, I’m on an investment path myself, with a particular interest in supporting businesses founded by women. There’s a significant gap to bridge in a world where less than 1% of funding is allocated to Black women entrepreneurs. I believe in taking action to address this disparity, which is why I’m committed to investing in and mentoring women-led ventures.
By mentoring, I aim to contribute meaningfully to the success of women entrepreneurs, fostering a more inclusive business ecosystem. It’s my way of putting my experience, network, and resources to work in supporting the next generation of innovative female leaders.
