Thomas Ossai

I hold a B.Eng degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt Nigeria and have over 20 years working experiences in organizations such as Eleme Petrochemical Co. Ltd, ExxonMobil, Sagem S.A and Chiofod Oil where I held various Engineering/technical positions prior to founding Topspace Nigeria Limited. At Topspace, we operate an Liquefied Gas Refilling plant in Rumuekini, Port Harcourt Rivers State for the sales of cooking gas.

I am an Alumnus of the prestigious Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship programme (2015) and equally acquired entrepreneurial development trainings:

1. Enterprise Development Center of Pan Atlantic University Lagos (funded by Development Bank of Nigeria 2019.
2. Bank of Industry SME Capacity Building workshop 2017.
3. Bocconi University, Milan Course on Entrepreneurship 2017.
4. Digital Marketing Training by She Leads Africa 2017.

My area of interest and expertise includes Business Plan development and Business fund raising.

I am a beneficiary of Mr. Tony Elumelu’s philanthropic gesture and other free Entrepreneurship training which have ignited the zeal to give back to the society. It was this zeal that Entrepreneurship propel to organize training in my church in 2019 by inviting two other friends who I meet during the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship programme in 2015 to be part of the training.

The decision to participate in this Mentor Training programme is the enable me acquire more skills and training to mentor upcoming entrepreneurs.
