Victor Maina

Victor is the CEO & Founder of Duhqa. He is tasked with directing and executing all activities of the Company either directly or through delegated authority. Before founding Duhqa, Mr. Victor Maina was Chief Commercial Officer, Sendy where he led Country Managers in Africa under eCommerce (Merchant) Enterprise & Freight business units, VP Customer Experience, VP Growth & data, VP Marketing, VP Expansion and Commercial Projects. Within the first year he led the company to 4x growth and a further 2x growth in the second year. Previously, Victor worked for DHL Express as Head of Sales, East & Southern Africa, leading over 26 countries’ in the development and execution of the company’s commercial strategy. He led his region to double digit growth during his tenure. He also held Sales Development Manager East & Agent Countries and Station Manager, Mombasa roles within the same company.

I am a firm believer that solutions to challenges that plague mankind are best resolved by those that face the challenges. So, Africans can solve their challenges with genuine support and mentorship. As a founder, I know how hard it is to run business and would like to give back in way of experience I bring.
At the same time, I know that the challenges that plague Africa and the world at large are not challenges that can be addressed by one individual or one gender. Therefore, by mentoring as many of us as possible, we can all contribute positively to the elevating humanity from their challenges.
