About

Accelerator/ Incubator experience;
I had the privilege of attending MEST; a 1 year accelerator program in Accra, Ghana. The same year I was part of UNLEASH, a global event by the United Nations. Together with 1000+ talents globally, we converged in Shenzhen, China, and developed solutions to achieve the SDGs.
Co-founder experience;
After MEST with 3 other cofounders we launched Farmula; a data-driven Agritech startup that automated processes across the agricultural supply chain using farmers’ data enabling farmers to sell their products directly to end consumers. Farmula was able to raise $100,000 in 2019 and got incubated at the MEST Kenya incubator.
Mentorship experience;
I formed and ran the Moringa School Women in Tech program in 2017/2018 and I am a mentor at Seedstars Mentor Network. My mentorship focus is on the technology product development cycle from market research, product development, testing, deployment, iteration, through to implementation.

Mentorship motivation

  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

My motivation is my co-founder journey. Cofounder dynamics is something I had no idea about going into building a start up. Coupled with other learnings I am keen on sharing my learnings running and developing tech projects.
