About

I am deeply passionate about mentoring because I believe that early-stage founders benefit immensely from strategic guidance grounded in real-world experience. As a mentor at Startupbootcamp and a tech sales leader with over a decade of experience, I have seen firsthand how the right go-to-market strategy, customer insight, and sales execution can be the difference between stagnation and scalable growth.

My professional journey spans leading tech sales strategies, entering new markets, and building sustainable revenue pipelines across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. I specialize in helping startups craft and refine their go-to-market strategy, navigate complex B2B sales cycles, and build scalable commercial operations. My focus areas include market validation, enterprise sales, customer acquisition, and expansion strategy, particularly for startups building SaaS platforms or digital infrastructure.

I am excited about mentoring through VC4A because of its pan-African reach and commitment to venture development. I want to contribute to building globally competitive ventures from the continent by sharing the hard-won lessons from launching tech products in new markets, displacing incumbents, and building lasting customer relationships.

I see mentoring as a two-way street; while offering insights, I also gain fresh perspectives from ambitious founders shaping the future of Africa’s innovation ecosystem.

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

I mentor because it is a meaningful way to give back to the startup ecosystem that has shaped much of my professional journey. With over a decade of experience in tech sales strategy, entering new markets, and building go-to-market plans across EMEA, I’ve supported founders in turning bold ideas into scalable businesses.

As a current mentor at Startupbootcamp, I’ve seen how strategic support at the right time can significantly shift a startup’s trajectory. I also constantly learn through these engagements, discovering new business models, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.

Mentoring through VC4A also allows me to stay close to the pulse of Africa’s innovation economy, scout for promising ventures, and build mutually beneficial relationships that could evolve into advisory, board, or investment opportunities.

Ultimately, I view mentorship as a powerful exchange in which experience meets fresh thinking, and both sides grow.
