Yolisa Molefe

I am a Professional Tax Practitioner and Accountant accredited by SAIPA. Currently studying LLM in Taxation(UWC), I have Accounting Honours(UNISA), Postgrad Dip Tax (UCT), BCom(UWC), Leadership Certificate (DukeCE), ETDP Facilitator & Assessor Certificates.
I am also an advocate for small businesses and therefore work with Enterprise Development Agencies in Government and Private sector to mentor on business finance and Tax.
I started and run a business for the past 16years and worked in finance & accounting for more than 27years.
I run my Accounting & Tax Practice with staff complement of 4 and mentor learners in their workplace internship, currently hosting 5.
I mentor a few entrepreneurs from difference projects currently, some on a voluntary basis as I am passionate about business and sharing the knowledge I have acquired.

I have experienced having mentors in different stages of my professional life and of my business journey.
I therefore understand when someone says “Entrepreneurship is a lonely journey”, in our country it is not a mature career journey and therefore you need someone who knows the path to assist where possible.
Also I know one of the reasons for businesses to fail in our country is the lack of Compliance knowledge and specifically finance and tax, I would like to bridge this gap with sharing my knowledge and empowering the entrepreneurs with such.
