My interest in mentoring stems from a firm belief that the bridge between a breakthrough idea and a sustainable business is built through shared experience and strategic guidance. Having transitioned from a technical background in AI engineering to leading an L.L.C. as a CEO, I understand the unique challenges founders face when translating complex technology into market-ready solutions. I am passionate about helping entrepreneurs navigate the “founder’s journey,” particularly in moving from the development phase to operational scaling and institutional negotiation.
My core focus areas are rooted in the intersection of HealthTech, Artificial Intelligence, and Business Development. I have extensive experience in:
Product Strategy & AI Integration: Specifically in NLP and Computer Vision, and how to utilize these technologies to solve high-stakes problems like diagnostic accuracy.
Strategic Growth & Fundraising: I can provide guidance on securing grants, navigating incubation programs (such as ISF and Orange Corners), and managing the transition to a formal legal entity.
Partnership Building: Navigating collaborations between startups and large-scale institutions or government entities.
Operational Leadership: Applying disciplined entrepreneurship and organizational culture principles to build resilient teams.
I am particularly interested in supporting founders who are looking to digitize essential services or those expanding into emerging markets in Africa. My goal is to help mentees refine their value propositions, avoid common pitfalls in the early stages of a startup, and build the confidence necessary to lead their teams through the complexities of the modern tech landscape. Providing this support is my way of contributing to a more robust and innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem
I believe that the strength of any startup ecosystem lies in the quality of the knowledge transfer between those who have navigated the early-stage hurdles and those currently in the trenches. Mentoring allows me to pay forward the support I received while building my own ventures, particularly in bridging the gap between technical innovation and commercial viability.
Furthermore, I view mentorship as a two-way street of professional growth. It provides a unique lens into emerging market trends and disruptive business models across various sectors, which keeps my own strategic thinking sharp. Beyond the altruistic aspect, I am actively interested in identifying high-potential projects where my experience in organizational leadership and HealthTech can provide long-term value, whether through formal advisory roles or strategic board participation. Building these connections not only expands my personal professional network but also aligns with my organization’s goal of fostering a more integrated and technologically advanced business landscape across the region.
