About

I love helping impart knowledge and offering support where and when I can.
Mentoring has provided me an outlet for productively using the knowledge and experiences I have garnered over the years.

I served as a Zonal Panelist of the Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (YouWin) in 2012 and subsequently as an Independent Monitor of several youth participants; working with technical partners of the programme – School 4 Startups UK, GrowBridge UK and subsequently, Growth and Employment in States (GEM) Nigeria.

I was a mentor with Bridge for Billions, a leading online incubator in an initiative that collaborated with Impact Hub Lagos. I was also one of the Mentors helping entrepreneurs leverage business and the internet in the KAD-ICT Digital Hub initiative of the Kaduna State Government.

Most recently, I have been a mentor with the Enterprise Development Centre (a part of Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria) in their collaborative ‘Transforming Nigerian Youths’ project in conjunction with the Mastercard Foundation. We shall soon embark on the third stream.

I was also amongst the new Business Development Service Providers certified by SMEDAN, the Nigerian agency saddled with regulating and developing the MSME industry in the country. I currently serve as an adjunct faculty member of Kaduna Business School.

I now passionately advocate creativity, learning, and mental literacy using the well-researched and proven efficacy of Mind Maps® – a revolutionary visual thinking tool developed by Tony Buzan™. My vision is to contribute my own quota to business and education in Nigeria by introducing people to mind mapping in order to aid better appreciation and understanding of more efficient thinking and study techniques.

I can help with creativity, idea generation, planning and problem-solving. Making start-ups have a structured approach to thinking more holistically would enhance productivity.

Maybe even ‘disruptively’ … who knows? 🙂

Mentorship motivation

  • I like to learn about industries and new businesses
  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent

Helping in any way I can is very soothing and I yearn to do so when I can to get more people to overcome their inhibitions so as to take the plunge that might make a difference in their lives.

Being part of a team that facilitates impact is unquantifiably epochal.
