About

I am a Fintech Consultant with Paypr.work, a fintech consulting firm where I provide strategic guidance and business solutions to financial institutions and fintech startups. Prior to that, I worked as a Country Head/CEO with Unlimint Nigeria and a Partnership Lead with Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc(NIBSS), specializing in facilitating strategic partnerships, market entry, growth, and expansion strategies within the financial services industry.

I have had the privilege of working with diverse technology providers, including banks, payment platforms, and fintech startups.

My expertise lies in identifying lucrative market entry points, devising scalable partnership frameworks, and spearheading the execution of high-value projects.

I also serve as an advisor and business mentor to various startups in different verticals and collaborate with ecosystem enablers through mentoring and training sessions. I have actively mentored small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) through various initiatives. I serve as a board advisor to several startups, where I helped refine their business strategies, improve operational efficiencies, and navigate regulatory landscapes.

I have a strong interest in fintech innovation, particularly in how emerging technologies can be leveraged to create new opportunities within the financial services sector. Additionally, I am passionate about mentoring and helping others navigate the complexities of the fintech landscape.

Mentorship motivation

  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up

My motivation for deciding to mentor startups stems from a deep desire to give back to the industry that has shaped my career. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to gain valuable insights and experience in building successful partnerships and navigating the complexities of the fintech and payments industries. I believe that sharing this knowledge can significantly benefit early-stage companies as they work to establish themselves in a competitive market.

Startups are often at the forefront of innovation, bringing fresh ideas and new technologies that have the potential to transform industries. I find it incredibly rewarding to support these emerging companies by helping them avoid common pitfalls, refine their strategies, and unlock new growth opportunities. Mentoring also allows me to stay connected to the latest trends and challenges in the industry, which is both personally and professionally fulfilling.

Ultimately, my goal as a mentor is to empower startups to achieve their full potential and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and long-term success.
