I am interested in mentoring because I believe in the transformative power of guidance and support in shaping the careers and lives of young professionals, especially women in tech.
Transitioning from medical school to tech, I faced numerous hardships and had to rely on my resilience and self-motivation to build a successful career in graphic design. This journey has given me invaluable insights and skills that I am eager to share with others. I want to provide the kind of support and mentorship I wish I had during my most challenging times, helping young women navigate their paths without compromising their values or succumbing to undue pressures.
My interests and focus areas include graphic design and Communications. I am passionate about the creative aspects of technology and how they can be leveraged to build impactful and meaningful projects. I am also keen on leadership development, project management, and fostering soft skills such as effective communication, critical thinking, and adaptability. These are essential for personal and professional growth in the tech industry.
Through mentoring, I aim to empower young women to overcome challenges, develop their skills, and achieve their full potential. I believe that by investing my time and knowledge, I can help build a more inclusive and diverse tech community where women can thrive and lead with confidence.
I am particularly passionate about mentoring women in tech because I have witnessed firsthand the barriers they often face, including gender biases and a lack of representation. By sharing my experiences and skills, I aim to empower these women to navigate their career paths confidently and without compromising their values. I mentor to give back to the community, to help build a more inclusive and diverse tech ecosystem, and to ensure that future generations of women have the support and opportunities they need to succeed. Ultimately, I mentor because I want to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
