About

About Me
I’m Bongani Radebe – an entrepreneur at heart who is a passionate business coach, mentor, and enthusiastic digital marketer. I work with emerging entrepreneurs, small businesses, and development organisations across Africa to turn good ideas into sustainable, growth-ready enterprises. My background spans business coaching, mentoring, enterprise development, and digital marketing – and I’m passionate about helping entrepreneurs navigate real challenges with grounded, practical solutions. I’m the founder of Strategic Business Moves, co-founder of Kenosis Beauty Institute, and currently serve as a Business Advisor, mentor, and trainer across several national development programmes.

In 2025, I was appointed as a the Entrepreneur in Residence for the Youth Startup Accelerator at Fetola. I also serve as a mentor for the BeGreen Africa Programme, a green entrepreneurship initiative co-created by the Tony Elumelu Foundation, UNICEF GenU, and IKEA Foundation. In the same year, I joined Career Indaba NPC as a Director, where I contribute to strategic governance and stakeholder engagement.

Geographic focus

Mentorship motivation

  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

Bongani Radebe mentors because he believes in the value of contributing to the growth of others—especially within Africa’s developing entrepreneurship landscape. Having built his own businesses and worked closely with early-stage founders, he understands the steep challenges many face without proper guidance. For him, mentoring is a way to give back meaningfully to the ecosystem that shaped his own journey.

In addition, he sees mentoring as a strategic channel for identifying long-term opportunities—whether that’s serving as an advisor, contributing at board level, or shaping business models that have potential for scale. Rather than chasing short-term investments, Bongani values long-term partnerships and impact-driven relationships that mentoring often brings to the surface.
