About

I’m passionate about mentoring because I’ve seen how structured guidance and aligned capital can transform early-stage ventures. Through my work at Deni Sawa Partners, I support investors and growing businesses in making disciplined decisions while preparing companies for sustainable scaling.

I enjoy helping founders sharpen their strategy, improve governance, and strengthen operational foundations so they can grow confidently. My focus areas include capital stewardship, investor alignment, strategic planning, and scaling early-stage businesses. For example, I was closely involved in the Truvalu exit (refer to below link), helping align investors and management to deliver a successful outcome, which reinforced my belief in hands-on guidance and disciplined growth. I aim to provide practical insights that protect investments while helping startups navigate challenges and achieve long-term impact.

Mentorship motivation

  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to scout for new opportunities in engaging as an advisor or for a board seat

I mentor because I enjoy helping founders navigate the challenges of growing a business. I’ve seen first-hand how practical guidance, strong governance, and clear strategy can make a real difference for example, during the Truvalu exit, aligning investors and management was key to a successful outcome. Sharing what I’ve learned over the years feels rewarding, and I like helping entrepreneurs make smarter decisions, avoid common pitfalls, and build businesses that can grow sustainably. Mentoring is a way to give back while supporting start-ups to reach their potential.
