About

I’ve built my career in communications, sustainability, and international development, working across UN agencies, governments, and the private sector to create partnerships that deliver impact. With more than 15 years of experience and a PhD in progress in Media and Communications, I bring both academic insight and practical know‑how to the work I do.
My focus has always been on connecting people and organisations. I’ve designed communication strategies that support climate resilience, WASH, and child rights, and I’ve worked with donor agencies, corporates, and government ministries to align priorities and mobilise resources. I enjoy the challenge of translating complex issues into clear narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, whether that’s through media campaigns, donor materials, or high‑level dialogues.
Coming from a media background, I’m comfortable managing crisis communications, producing reports, and building campaigns that reach both local communities and international platforms. I’ve coordinated events with senior leaders, supported regional forums, and helped shape conversations around gender equity, climate justice, and digital innovation.
Mentoring is something I value because I know how overwhelming the development space can feel when you’re starting out. I like sharing practical lessons on building partnerships, navigating institutional systems, and using communications as a tool for influence and change. My goal is to help emerging leaders gain confidence, understand the dynamics of collaboration, and find ways to connect their ideas with opportunities that create lasting impact.

Mentorship motivation

  • I want to give back to the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurs coming up
  • I want to make new connections for myself and/or the organization I represent

I wish i had someone to mentor me and share the ropes early on in my career. It would have made a world of a difference to me and my development. I hope to help someone coming up in their career to avoid the pitfalls and challenges I faced.
