I am a mechanical engineer by academics, and by passion, I am an innovator. My mind works very well in ideation, prototyping, and commercial launch. Having worked for some of the best Indian and French companies, I have gathered the best practices in product management, innovation, and Sales & Business Development.
In trying to solve a social problem I witness at fuel/gas stations, I developed an innovative product and have applied for a patent. I continue to learn and recently completed online courses in “Industry 4.0”, “Innovation by Design”, “Law of Patent for Engineers & Scientists”, and “Trademark, Copyright GI and Designs”.
In 2011, I received a USD 20,000 cash award for my innovative idea, in the US, sponsored by a large American Company, Owens Corning.
I have successfully, remotely mentored teams in Kenya, Spain, and USA via innovation hubs.
Currently, I am mentoring school students under the Tinkering program of the Indian Government’s policy think tank, Niti Aayog, as a Regional Mentor of Change. I am also a consultant to companies manufacturing and trading machinery.
I have traveled widely across Europe, and South East Asia, and China. I lived and worked in Sweden for some time.
My experience can be of value for organizations (established, and Startups) engaged in making technical products and acquiring intellectual property rights (Patent/Design/Copyright/…). Having widely traveled internationally, I am confident to deal with a diverse set of teams, my background in sales and BD gave me ample opportunities to make professional presentations to high-level teams in large and medium organizations. This has given me a good amount of confidence in making successful communication.
I am keen to make a meaningful contribution to the transformation of established organizations as well as to give a clear direction to Startups. I expect reasonable compensation for the services I deliver.
